My first Golden was purchased from my late brothers STMALO kennel, this was my beautiful Brandy, aka, Ch Stmalo Brandy Mei Ling.

Brandy produced the first Piarki litter, 4 lovely babies, 2 of which obtained their Championship titles, and I was hooked!

My interest in the breed developed into a full time love of showing, with some obedience along the way and of course the occasional litter being whelped.

I now judge and have been fortunate to have officiated at 3 Golden Speciality Shows. I have travelled to Europe, USA, Asia & NZ just to view or judge Goldens. I was honoured to be asked to travel to the UK to officate over the Joan Gill Memorial Stakes which had a huge entry and also 2 Progeny Classes at the UK Golden Retriever Club Championship Show 2008 held at Stoneleigh Park.

Over the years we have been happy to supply puppies or the services of our stud dogs to many well known kennels such as, Meykel, Taplar, Nugold, Goldrush, Goldmartini, Goldmatt,Goldensun, Countrylife, Buffalo, Bozgold, Montego, Cals, Arangold, Clairdoree, Abshail, Tiptree, Santamaria, Lueo, Mystic.

And in return we have been astute enough to obtain bloodlines from Buffalo, Goldtreve, Fernfall, Goldbrior, Montego, Westrova, Willowlawn and are grateful to those owners.

We cautiously, sometimes, send stock overseas and am happy to say that Jo-anne and I have made some life long friends in countries such as Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Mainland USA, India, Hawaii and Singapore.

I have so much to be grateful for, my love of Goldens has given me wonderful memories of people, places and super dogs that have come into my life. I am thrilled to say that my children also have a love of the breed and my Grandchildren all have their own Goldens. Jack and twins Amelia & Charlotte have 'Jinx, Dora, Toffee, Joan and Dave.', Kara & Elle in Sydney own 'Missy' & 'Marley'. Clarence and Samantha own Phantom and Spirit. A real family affair

Jo has been around Golden Retrievers since she was little, when after arriving back to Australia from living in Singapore( Jo's place of birth) when we obtained Brandy.

Jo was a keen Child Handler at times, and now her own children are attending dog shows and are learning how to be responsible dog owners.

Jo has lived in many Australian states and in America, her family now resides in the rural town of Kandos, about 3 hours from Sydney. The dogs esp enjoy the country life, and we do rotate dogs occasionally so they all get the chance to romp around.
